"What If The Story's Not Over?"
What if the story isn't over? What if God is still writing your next chapter?
We spent this service asking the hard questions - the "what if" moments that keep us up at night. What if I'm failing? What if I'm not enough? What if I've made too many mistakes?
But here's the truth that hit me today: What if your failure headline isn't God's headline at all? What if where you see "The End," God writes "To Be Continued"?
Our students reminded us that sometimes we have to sit through the previews - those hard seasons, those waiting moments, those struggles that feel endless. But those previews aren't the whole story. Your past is just preparation for what God wants to do through you.
The Israelites spent 40 years complaining about the journey instead of trusting the destination. They focused on the noise instead of the promise. Sound familiar?
Here's my challenge: Silence the noise. Turn off the notifications. Put down the phone. Stop letting your mind write tragic stories that aren't even in the print. Make room for Jesus to do what only He can do.
Because here's what I know - as long as you have breath in your lungs, you have a reason to praise the Lord. God didn't bring you this far to give up on you now.
Your comeback might be exactly what someone else needs to believe again. Your story of how God showed up could be the headline of hope someone desperately needs to read today.
The story isn't over. God's not done. And the best chapters? They're still being written.
